AboutJonathan Fasulo is the son of a Mexican mother and an Italian blues drummer from the Bronx; he was born and raised in La Colonia in Southern California. He spent most of this childhood helping his father carry drums from one show to another. But without any discernible music ability for himself, he became a keen observer. Jonathan quickly learned to express his creativity in other ways, eventually, receiving a B.F.A. from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Today, living in New York City, Jonathan continues to hone his craft. While he strives for beauty in all his photographs, the underlying motivation conveys a sense of longing, a nostalgia for something enigmatic. |
